1. Introduction

1.1. Lets Comply (Pty) Ltd ("Lets Comply", "we", "us", or "our") is a compliance firm with a clear and unwavering purpose: to turn compliance into a catalyst for business growth rather than a hurdle. We believe that when done right, compliance empowers businesses to operate with confidence, resilience, and integrity.

1.2. This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, how we use them, the types of cookies we use (i.e., the information we collect using cookies and how that information is used), and how to manage your cookie settings.

2. Definitions

2.1 "Cookies" are small text files used to store small pieces of information. They are stored on your device when a website loads in your browser. These cookies help ensure that the website functions properly, enhance security, provide a better user experience, and analyse performance to identify what works and where improvements are needed.

3. How we use Cookies

3.1. Like most online services, our website uses both first-party and third-party cookies for various purposes. First-party cookies are primarily necessary for the website to function properly and do not collect any personally identifiable data.

3.2. The third-party cookies used on our website primarily help us understand how the website performs, track how you interact with it, keep our services secure, deliver relevant advertisements, and enhance your overall user experience while improving the speed of your future interactions with our website.

4. Types of Cookies we use

4.1. We use different types of cookies on our website. Some of these cookies are placed by us, while others are placed by our third-party plug-ins, suppliers or advertisers.

4.2. These cookies may be deleted from your device at different times, such as at the end of your browsing session (when you leave the website) or after a pre-set period, or they may persist on your device until you delete them.

4.3. The table below lists the cookies this website may place on your device. Cookies in the Analytics category are placed only if you have switched on analytics cookies in the consent banner, and they are removed when you withdraw that consent.

4.4. Google Analytics 4 is provided by Google LLC. We use it to count visits, to see which pages are read, and to see how people arrive at the site. We have switched off Google's advertising features on this property, and we do not send Google your name, email address, telephone number, or anything else you type into a form on this website.

4.5. Microsoft Clarity is provided by Microsoft Corporation. We use it to see anonymised recordings and heatmaps of how pages are used, so that we can find the places where the website is confusing. Text you type into forms is masked before the recording is created and is not visible to us.

4.6. Both providers process this information outside South Africa, in terms of section 72 of the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013. Their own privacy terms apply in addition to this policy:

4.7. We do not currently place any advertising cookies on this website. If that changes, this policy will be updated before those cookies are used, and they will remain subject to the advertising toggle in the consent banner.

5. Manage Cookie preferences

5.1 You can modify your cookie settings anytime by clicking the 'Consent Preferences' button. This will allow you to revisit the cookie consent banner and update your preferences or withdraw your consent immediately.

5.2 Additionally, different browsers offer various methods to block and delete cookies used by websites. You can adjust your browser settings to block or delete cookies. Below are links to support documents on how to manage and delete cookies in major web browsers.

5.3 If you are using a different web browser, please refer to its official support documentation.

20. Policy Review

This policy will be reviewed on an ad hoc basis where there are regularly or operational business changes.
